How to Search for Permits and Parcels on eConnect

Searching for Permits

Keep in mind that entering fewer search criteria will increase the number of results, often
making it easier to find what you are looking for.

Permit Number: You may enter all or part of the Permit Number, i.e., BLD2005-00855 or WEL2005-00001.
Name of Person or Business: Typically the name (last, first) of the business or person who applied for the permit, i.e., Building Company or Doe, Mary.
Address: Number: The number part of the street address, i.e., 25.
Fraction: The fractional part of the number, i.e., 1/2.
Prefix: The street prefix, i.e., N, S.
Street: The name of the street, i.e., Maple or Main.
Unit: Apartment or lot or suite number, i.e. 42.
City: The name of the city or village, i.e., Dexter
Recommendation: Just enter the street number and street name.

Searching for Parcels

Parcel Number: This is the number assigned to the parcel (sometimes called, "Tax ID"), i.e., 09-09-29-133-001 or C -03-12-200-002.
If there is only one character before the first dash, then put in a space after that first character.
Last Name: The last name of the property owner.
First Name: The first name of the property owner.
Address: Number: The number part of the street address, i.e., 25.
Fraction: The fractional part of the number, i.e., 1/2.
Prefix: The street prefix, i.e., N, S.
Street: The name of the street, i.e., Maple or Main. Leave out "St" or "Rd".
Lot/Suite/Apt: Lot, suite or apartment number, i.e., 42.
City: The name of the city or village, i.e., Dexter.
Recommendation: Just enter the street number and street name.
